Following results of 2013, JSC Dalur significantly enhances key operational indicators

“These indicators have been primarily achieved due to the efforts of our employees, who continuously work on the process optimization. The application of new and efficient engineering and technological solutions also plays a vital role,” highlighted Nikolay Poponin, JSC Dalur Director General. In 2013, the company’s employees submitted 17 proposals for improving the workflow, of which 12 proposals were implemented in the industrial practices. These include, for example, improvement of sampling procedures, feed lines, flow meter mounting etc. Furthermore, three projects within the framework of the Rosatom Production System were implemented, such as: standardization of the procedures for sulphuric acid reception at the railroad base and supply to on-site storages; standardization of the procedures at the site for shipping packaging set preparation; and standardization of the procedures at the central warehouse.

The management of JSC Dalur observes all terms and conditions of the Collective Labor Agreement, raises remuneration rates on an annual basis and do not plan any personnel downsizing. As far as the activity under the unified social policy of the State Corporation Rosatom is concerned, noteworthy is the launch of the corporate programme for provision of housing to the company’s employees. This program does not only include assistance in purchasing real estate, but also envisages construction of housing for the workforce.
JSC Dalur’s plans up to 2017 involve achieving annual uranium output of 600 tons; continuing pilot operations at the Khokhlovskoye deposit; and commencing development at the Dobrovolnoye deposit.
