Bashneft to pay dividends totalling 199 roubles per share before the end of 2013

Interim dividends, which are to total about 45.25 billion roubles, will be paid before the end of 2013.

Earlier, in June 2013, the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Bashneft decided to pay dividends for 2012 amounting to 24 roubles per ordinary registered share and per preferred registered share of JSOC Bashneft. Dividends totalling 5.32 billion roubles were paid out in August 2013.

The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders also approved a new version of the Regulations on Remuneration and Compensations Payable to the Members of the Board of Directors of JSOC Bashneft. The new version of the Regulations had to be approved due to an increase in the workload of independent Board members, including serving on the new Project Assurance Committee of the Board of Directors. The Committee considers findings from expert reviews of large capital projects of Bashneft and its subsidiaries and develops practical recommendations for the Board in this sphere.
