Turboatom has completed producing the second turbine for Dniestrovskaya PSPP

At present OJSC "Turboatom" is performing the erection of the unit in the presence of erection supervisors on PSPP. The turbine cover has already been installed, the runner is connected with the shaft and the preparation for erection of the guide-bearing and shaft sealing is in progress.

According to the contract signed in April 2012, OJSC "Turboatom" has manufactured and supplied for Dniestrovskaya PSPP a complete set of equipment for a reversible radial-axial hydraulic machine ORO170-B-730 with the maximum capacity of 390 MW in a turbine mode and 420 MW in a pump mode. In addition, the specialists of the enterprise will carry out installation supervision; participate in pre-commissioning and putting into operation the supplied equipment.

Previously, the plant has manufactured and put into operation similar hydraulic turbine for the first unit for Dniestrovskaya PSPP. Today, the enterprise is working on manufacturing the equipment for the third hydraulic machine.
