Inter RAO Group gives 100 LED street lights to St. Petersburg

This LED upgrade project was delivered under the Russian Federal Law on Saving Energy and Increasing Energy Efficiency. Proposed by Inter RAO Group, Svetlanovsky Prospekt lighting project will be the largest public highway LED lighting project in St. Petersburg and the first project of its kind in Russia.

СJSC Svetlana Optoelectronics designed a special version of its iStreet\XXL street light to meet the unique requirements of this highway including the proximity of industrial sites and high-rise buildings, highway length and width, as well as the climate of St. Petersburg and the high CRI (Color Rendering Index) it requires. Key advantages of LED light sources include complete lack of flicker and clear definition of moving objects and colors at night, during snow storms and in the rain.

SPb GUP Lensvet helped to install the street lighting system.

This result is an important indicator of our operational performance.”
