Technopromexport Started Major Repair of Power Unit №2 of Jijel TPP in Algeria

Technopromexport’s obligations under this contract include the works related to the inspection and repair of the turbine, the generator and the unit electrical equipment including the unit and auxiliary transformers.

As of September of the current year, Technopromexport began dispatching experts to the site. In the near future, the turbine generator will be shut down, and the experts will start the repair work, which, according to the contract, will continue for three months.

Technopromexport built the Jijel TPP in 1994 by on a turn-key basis. The thermal power plant includes three power units, capacity 210 MW.
