Turboatom continues shipping the equipment for Ekibastuz TPP-1

In January 2013 OJSC "Turboatom" shipped to the customer low-pressure cylinder and rotor for unit No 2 of Ekibastuz TPP-1 (Kazakhstan), and also auxiliary equipment and the receiver.

Now in the work there are cylinders of high and medium pressure and regulation.
In steam turbine shop (No 53) was a high-pressure rotor thermal tests and is in the final machining, then it will be passed in the assembly and testing plant No 73) on the blading and control assembly. Medium pressure rotor referred to the 73rd workshop on blading.

Ekibastuz TPP-1 "Turboatom" reconstructs the turbine K-500-240-2 to increase capacity to 540 MW. The scope of work includes the modernization of the cylinders running high, medium and low pressure will then be applied to a new combination of segment and sleeve bearings, advanced movement supports and cylinders, electro-hydraulic control system, new design blocks of steam distribution and a number of technical solutions.
