E.ON Russia’s 2011 sales of electric power amounted to 64.8 billion kWh, which is 9.3% higher than in 2010 (59.3 billion kWh). Power generation grew by 12% in 2011, reaching 62.5 billion kWh.
This gain in output is attributable to successful implementation of the new construction investment program. Thus, in the 3rd quarter of 2011 the company commissioned 1,200 MW of new facilities at Surgutskaya GRES-2 and Yaivinskaya GRES. During 2011 the new 400 MW power unit was in operation at Shaturskaya GRES.
