"Turboatom" has shipped the equipment for Nurek HPP (Tajikistan)

The contract for the supply of spare parts and seven runners for the modernization Nurek HPP OJSC “Turboatom” and OAXK Barki Tajik (Tajikistan) signed in October 2009. In February of this year, the parties reached agreement on the delivery of the balance of goods on the HPS fixtures, tool and manufacture of plugs to spherical water seal in 2011. In addition, in December 2011 is planned to sign a contract for the provision of services for installation supervision. Specialists of OJSC “Turboatom” will provide technical leadership of assembly work of the water trap.
Currently “Turboatom" ends production of the first runner Nurek HPP, its shipment is planned for April 2011
Nurek HPP - the largest hydroelectric power plant in Central Asia, the installed capacity of 2700 MW. First deliveries to the station began in 1971 in total at Nurek HPP OJSC “Turboatom" put nine Francis turbines with a unit capacity of 310 MW and 9 ball valves with a diameter 4, 2 m.
