Transfer to RAB-regulation having been made, the investments volume in the electric grid economy of Arkhangelsk region grows by 2-3 times and amounts to RUR 4,3 bln.

The modernization issue of the power infrastructure of Arkhangelsk region has been treated in the regional government in the course of the round-table discussion “Modernization of the regional industry. Problems and solutions”.  The following people took part in the meeting: chiefs of large enterprises, companies and financial structures which work in the region’s territory. IDGC of North-West, JSC was represented by assistant of the Director General Valery Mamontov and Director of “Arkhenergo” branch Yuri Yampol’sky during the round-table discussion. While speaking during the round-table discussion Valery Mamontov described the region’s development perspectives of the electric power industry and advantages of the transfer to RAB-regulation.
- Such way of tariffs making will provide a possibility to implement investment arrangements with the growth of investments volumes by 2-3 times, - emphasized assistant of the company’s Director General.
The investment program for 2011-2015 subject to the transfer to new regulation method RAB is formed in “Arkhenergo” branch of IDGC of North-West, JSC and represented in the regional agency on tariffs and prices. RAB method makes it possible to attract the long-term capital in the grid infrastructure.
As Valery Mamontov noted, the total expenses amount for the investment activity for the period of 2011–2015 is planned in volume of RUR 4, 3 bln. The final decision as to the calculations represented in the investment program to the agency on tariff and prices of Arkhangelsk region will be made the following week.
