Sorochinskneft Commissions Four Gas-Turbine Power Plants

Since 2008, 570 mln rubles has been invested in the project. Each plant can generate 1.8 MW and consumes 15,900 cubic metres of gas per day.
Commissioning of the GTPPs will boost utilization of associated gas from the Rodnikovskoe field to 70%. Additional project solutions to be implemented by the end of the year will increase this to 95%. To increase the GTPPs loading and power output the company plans to supply them with gas from the Romanovskoe and Vrezovskoe fields.
