In 2011 electric power consumption in Russia will increase by 3.4%

According to the service’s report, in the first half of 2010 general energy consumption increased by 5% in comparison with the same period in 2009, and by 2.5% in comparison with the value planned for 2010.
Prior to final approval of the consolidated budgeted balance sheet for 2011, which is to be held before 1 November, 2010, Russian FTS will carry out an additional analysis of the actual power consumption in RF subjects, where a significant decrease was observed in 2008–2009, and, if necessary, in other regions of the country.
