A meeting between OAO LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov and BP Chief Executive Tony Hayward was held at LUKOIL headquarters in Moscow

Special attention was given to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
Mr. Alekperov said in particular that BP’s experience obtained in the course of the oil spill containment should serve as the international oil community’s know-how to prevent similar accidents in future.
