Atomstroyexport and German company GNS signed an agreement concerning the cooperation

Atomstroyexport informed the parties had agreed “to merge efforts and expertise in the field of the use of dual-use containers, including those for Russian-design reactor SNF, as well as in design, services and equipment for decommissioning of nuclear power plants.” The companies intend to jointly participate in implementation of a number of projects, specifically, Belene N-plant construction project in Bulgaria, where CASTOR containers for VVER fuel will be used.
