Tests of the Power of Siberia pipeline crossing across the Gilyuy River have been completed

The Power of Siberia gas pipeline includes two double-string crossings across the Gilyuy River (Gilyuy 1 and Gilyui 2). The 511-meter pipeline of the backup line of the Gilyuy 1 crossing was laid in March of this year.

For laying the pipe into the design position in the underwater trench, 26 units of heavy machinery were involved: 18 pipe layers, 6 excavators and 2 bulldozers. Hydrohammer was used to develop trenches in the rock of the river bed. The contractor of the construction is Lengazspetsstroy.

After pneumatic testing, the backup line of the Gilyuy 1 crossing will be connected to the adjacent sections of the backup pipeline.
