Ukhta – Torzhok – 2: the main construction and installation works have been completed

The sections of the SGM Group with Stroygazmontazh as the general contractor, and Lengazspetsstroy, Krasnodargazstroy and Neftegazkomplektmontazh as contractors, passed through the territory of the Arkhangelsk and Vologda regions.

In the course of construction, works were carried out at 18 crossings of highways, including the Kholmogory federal highway (Moscow – Arkhangelsk) and three crossings under the railway, the HDD method was also used for construction of crossings over the Sukhona River (983 m) and the Little Northen Dvina River (1271 m).

As of now, the main construction and installation works have already been completed, all sections of the gas pipeline have been calibrated and tested, the connection to the existing gas pipeline has been completed; territory is being improved; banks protection, recultivation and access roads are being built.

The Ukhta – Torzhok trunk gas pipeline system is being constructed as part of the project to create a gas transmission system connecting the Yamal Peninsula and the central regions of Russia.
