Three oil fields discovered in 2016 on prospective sites outlined by Samara subsidiary of Rosgeologia

The company’s specialists completed processing and interpreting of 3D seismic data on two and processing on five license areas, and submitted the reports to the client. Work has been completed on three more projects and the reports based on the resulting data are being prepared.

In 2016, three oil fields were discovered as a result of the deep well drilling within the uplifts outlined and assessed based on 3D seismic surveys fulfilled by PAO SNGEO. These are the Zapadno-Spilskoye, Zapadno-Borodinskoye and Novo-Topolyovskoye fields with the oil pools in Lower and Mid-Carboniferous, and in Upper Devonian.

In 2017 the company will process and interpret 3D seismic data on two license areas (Ekaterinovki nd Yuzhno-Uvarovski), and will process 3D seismic data on six more areas (Zalesski, Kutuluksli, Radaevsli-Picherski-Selitbensko-Rakovski, Cheremushkinski, Kozhevskoi and Poimenny).
