Punginskoye UGS facility’s first start-up phase was completed

Works for Punginskoye underground gas storage facility expansion have included installation of two 16MW GPUs and gas-collection system, consisting of 12 wells within three well groups, as well as construction of three administration buildings, a measuring point and control room.

Moreover, several service and backup facilities have been erected: office building, repair and operation building, generator set, pump house and warehouses. Communication lines, electric lines, KITSO and instrumentation have been also installed.

These days, the works for the second start-up phase are underway. It is planned to install two more 16MW GPUs, to tie six wells in for operation, to build well-workover stations and logistics bases. The works for Punginskoye UGS’s expansion will be performed until end of 2018.The Owner of the project is Gazprom tsentrremont, LLC. The Operating company is Gazprom transgaz Yugorsk, LLC.
