Rosneft and the Ministry of Petroleum of Egypt declare to cooperate in educational projects

The document was signed by the Chairman of Rosneft Management Board Igor Sechin and the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Egypt Sherif Ismail during the visit of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Hussein Abdel Fattah Saeed Khalil al-Sisi to Russia.

The declaration involves assistance in organization of education of the citizens of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the universities of the Russian Federation including compensation for the education costs, accommodation, scholarship support and medical insurance for the students. To implement the declaration, a joint working group will be set up that will specify the type of the educational program, the participants and the pattern of the contractual relations with the selected Russian university.

In the future, the specialists who completed their education under the program will be able to join the teams that implement the joint Russian-Egyptian oil and gas projects.
