Oil company «Yangpur» expands its production potential

On Izvestinskiy license area, developed by LLC «Neftyanaya kompaniya «Yangpur» assembling of echelon rig БУ- 3000 has been started. Using the rig, in September it is planned to start drilling of the first exploration directional well №828 of Vostochno-Metelnaya area here.

The objective of drilling is studying of the area and prospecting of the hydrocarbons in order to convert them to the reserves category. The well project depth will make up 3 250 m. It is supposed, that it will expose the entire section of Cretaceous and the upper part of Jurassic deposits.

By the preliminary geologic estimates only some reservoirs of Cretaceous complex may turn out to be producing. Recoverable reserves here make up 13,5 mln t of hydrocarbons.
