Power Machines supply a steam turbine to Blagoveshchenskaya TPP

The EPC contract for Blagoveshchenskaya TPP Phase 2 was signed between Power Machines and Blagoveshchenskaya TPP CJSC in December 2013 following open tender procedures.

Pursuant to the contract, Power Machines shall construct Blagoveshchenskaya TPP Phase II as the General Contractor. The company will therefore provide a full scope of construction, installation and pre-commissioning services, and will also manufacture and supply all necessary equipment including primary power equipment, i.e. a 120 MW steam turbine complete with a turbine generator of their own manufacture, a steam boiler manufactured by Krasny Kotelshchik Boiler-Making Plant from Taganrog, and also power and unit transformers, that will be manufactured by Power Machines and Toshiba’s joint venture, Power Machines – Toshiba High Voltage Transformers LLC.
