"Turboatom" manufactured runner for DneproHPP-2 (Ukraine)

In presence of Customer there were functional, oil, strengthening and hydraulic tests during which functionality of runner for identity of blades turn and also pressure level were tested. Under results of work Acceptance Certificate was signed, stated that all controlled variables are in accordance with requirements and accepted by Customer. Equipment provided for shipment.

More over acceptance tests of turbine shaft and oil head are in progress.

Also, at this moment, in manufacture are distributor and hydroturbine mechanisms.

According to Contract, concluded in 2011 at DniproHPP-II OJSC "Turboatom" will implement modernization of three turbines Nos 11, 17, 18 propeller type with change for hydraulic units with adjustable-blades. After modernization unit capacity of turbines will increase form 115 MW to 122 MW, average efficiency will reach 93,5%, and diameter of runner will increase from 6,8 to 7 m.

Modernized hydraulic unit No 11 was commissioned in 2013. Commissioning of turbines No 18 and No 17 planned for 2015.
