Ukraine increased gas supplies from Europe by 138% in 2014 and reduced gas imports from Russia by 44%

Gas imports from Europe rose 138% (from 2.1 to 5.0 billion cubic meters (bcm)) while Russian imports fell 44% (from 25.8 to 14.5 bcm). The share of Russian gas in Ukraine’s domestic consumption decreased by more than a third in 2014, accounting for 34% of total. Gas supply diversification will remain a priority for Naftogaz in 2015.
