“Turboatom” continue work on manufacturing of equipment for Kremenchug HPP

After boring of bronze bushings for installation of blades, assemblage of runner with blades will be implemented with further cutting of blades and final assemblage with crosspiece, piston and rod. In 2015 functional tests of equipment and its acceptance by customer and shipment will take place.    

Under Contract concluded in July 2011 OJSC “Turboatom” carries out rehabilitation of three Kaplan type turbines with rated capacity 58 MW with change of runners with diameter 8 m, hydroturbine shafts, guide vanes and bearings. As result of executed works capacity of every unit will increase up to 64 MW. Also lifetime and overhaul life of equipment will be increased.
