Turboatom is modernizing a hydraulic turbine at Kakhovskaya HPP

According to the contract, OJSC "Turboatom" is to modernize runner, manufacture new blades of guide vane, shaft, oil receiver and replace embedded parts. After reconstruction the reliability and service life of the turbine are expected to increase. The scope of obligations of the enterprise also includes supervision installation, participation in pre-commissioning and commissioning of the equipment.

The contract came into effect after receiving the advance payment on December. The order is open in the production; design documentation is developed and issued to workshops. At the moment, the production is being prepared.

Delivery date of the equipment is April 2016. Start-up of the hydrounit is scheduled for 2016.
