Record coal production at «Chernogorskiy» open-pit mine, 6 mln tonnes of coal YTD

Thus the company has celebrated two outstanding events – early production of yearly plan and the record. The open-pit mine had never have such production volumes till now. Vladimir Azev - the Deputy CEO of OOO “SUEK Khakassia”, Vasilii Belonogov - the mayor of Chernogorsk and Director of “Chernogorskiy” open-pit mine Gennadiy Shapovalenko have held speeches at the festive ceremony:

“Traditionally, November – December is the hardest period for the open-pit mines. It is time of our victories”, says Gennadiy Shapovalenko. “This year, we have produced 6 million tonnes of coal in less than 11 months for the first time ever. We still have enough time till the end of the year to bring to grass more than half a million tonn of black gold”.

At the welcoming speech to the miners, Vasillii Belonogov, head of Chernogorsk, noted SUEK’s social responsibility policy and Company’s participation in SUEK’s social programs. He also wished further success to the miners.
