Turboatom has completed manufacturing a condenser for Balakovskaya NPP

In July 2014, the specialists of the enterprise made 6 modules of the last, third condenser case consisting of three cases by 6 modules in each, total number is 18 modules. The equipment passed check assembly and was handed over to the customer, and then it will be packed and shipped to the station. The order will be closed in production at the end of July of the current year.

"Turboatom" performs replacement of the turbine condenser with a capacity of 1000 MW for Balakovskaya NPP, tube systems of block and modular type condenser are carried out using titanic cooling pipes and outer tube plates claded with titanium.

As a result of executed works, a turbine capacity will increase more than 5 MW, service life will be extended, its reliability and safety will increase as well.
