RusHydro selected Power Machines as the general contractor for expansion of Blagoveschenskaya TPP

The whole package of the plant’s design documentation has been approved by the Federal main directorate for government expert evaluation (Glavgosexpertisa). Independent technological assessment and price audit of the project has been conducted by Ernst and Young – valuation and advisory services.

The second stage of the Blagoveschenskaya TPP is one of the four projects on construction of new generating facilities in the Far East of Russia, included in the Investment program of RusHydro, implemented together with RAO ES of East in accordance with the President’s decree. After commissioning of the second stage of the Blagoveschenskaya TPP the plant’s installed capacity will increase by 120 MW to 400 MW, heat capacity – by 188 GCal/h to 1005 GCal/h. The construction is planned to be completed in 2015.
