Belorusneft is planning to expand its activity in Latin America

During the familiarization visit of the company’s representatives to Belorusneft, the Belarusian and Ecuadorian specialists have assessed each others’ capabilities, perspectives of collaboration in the Latin American region. Scientific, technical and production potential of search, exploration and development of oil fields, oil recovery factor improvement, hydrocarbon transport, associated gas processing was demonstrated to the foreign guests. In their turn, the representatives of Sertecpet S.A. have told about the company’s activity strategy, current project and perspectives in Latin America.      

During negotiations the parties have endorsed the idea of joint geologic exploration and development of ground fields in Ecuador. In the nearest future, the Belorusneft specialists will study geological and geophysical information on perspective oilfields in this country and will present their conclusions thereon. The Belarusian and Ecuadorian specialists intend to create a strategic alliance for the purpose of their implementation.
